PROJECT details

Client: Baltimore City, Department of Public Works

Location: Baltimore, MD

Capabilities: Rehabilitation, Replacement

Services: Bypass Pumping, CIPP

Contract Value: $16,433,000

  • This project involved rehabilitation of nearly 4,700-feet of 78-inch reinforced concrete pipe sanitary sewer. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining was applied to 2,550-feet, while the remaining 2,140-feet utilized a carbon fiber reinforced polymer lining.

As structural integrity of the pipe was restored, a 150-MGD bypass was installed to maintain uninterrupted flow of the existing system. Existing sewer structures along with 500-feet of a 27-inch diameter pressure sewer were also rehabilitated as part of this impressive project.
