With this trenchless technique, a new smaller pipe is inserted into the deteriorated pipe, and the gap is filled with a watertight seal. Our technology works equally well for both gravity- and pressure-driven pipes. Plus, minimal excavation is required, so there's less interference with the general public.

How It Works

The experts at Spiniello customize each sliplining solution to meet the specific needs of each client. The pipe material may vary, as well as the length and size of the pipe to be repaired. Typically, the process includes the following steps:

  • Step 1: Clean the pipe. We generally use high-powered equipment to remove any debris or obstructions within the existing pipe.
  • Step 2: Insert the new pipe. The new smaller pipe may be pulled or pushed into the host pipe. We either use a winch and a cable to pull the new pipe into place, or we use our own custom-built equipment to push the new pipe into the existing one.
  • Step 3: Seal the gap. Once the new pipe is fully inserted, the annular void or space between the two pipes is sealed with a watertight grout.

With proper installation and grouting, Spiniello's sliplining solutions ensure that rehabilitated pipe and lateral connections are leak-tight, corrosion resistant and provide superior flow rates.
