Newman Springs Pump Station Twin 24" Discharge Main Rehab

The project required the CIPP lining of twin - 24” water lines with a class 4 structural liner designed for an operating pressure of 120psi and a test pressure of 150psi. Each line was approximately 700’ long, having several elbows and offset joints.

The twin lines went under a river and marshland. The project required four pits, with the deepest pit on the eastern side, built directly adjacent to a four lane, heavily traveled road, a bridge and the river. The project required the replacement of two 24' valves and 2-6" Blow offs. Each inversion and cure was completed in a 12 hour period. The liner was supplied by Nordipipe. Spiniello completed the work in a timely manner, to the satisfaction of the owners and engineers.
