CML - Bypass Pumping
Most pipeline rehabilitation projects require a temporary water system, or bypass piping, to be installed. These above-ground pipes enable continuous and uninterrupted service to be provided to consumers, while also maintaining adequate fire protection levels.
Bypass piping is typically designed to meet the hydraulic requirements of the existing system, along with fire protection standards. Once in place, and prior to consumer use, the above-ground system is tested and disinfected to comply with American Water Works Association (AWWA) requirements.
Spiniello can manage all aspects of establishing a bypass system — from initial construction to ongoing operation. In fact, we have over 40,000 linear feet of HDPE bypass pipe at our disposal.
