CIPP - Bypass Pumping
Most Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining projects require a bypass system, which diverts the flow to a manhole downstream from the rehabilitation. This enables pipes to be lined under "dry" conditions without disrupting service to the customer.
Bypass systems are typically designed to handle flows greater than those normally conveyed by the existing pipeline. Plus, backup pumps (standby power) and quick-release sewer plugs are included with the system to handle emergency flow events. These also provide a heightened level of safety to prevent any surcharging.
Spiniello can manage all aspects of bypass pumping — from initial pipe installation, to pressure-testing, to ongoing operation. We have a large inventory of diesel bypass pumps at our disposal, as well as over 40,000 linear feet of HDPE bypass pipe.
