In addition to projects completed around the world, Spiniello has:
Across the nation, aging water and sewer systems are posing a serious challenge. The pipelines are increasingly corroded, structurally unstable and ill-equipped to meet the growing demands for flow capacity. At the same time, digging up pipes to replace them is a logistical nightmare – and rarely fits within today's limited budgets.
Spiniello's Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining solutions are a fast, cost-effective alternative to pipe replacement. We simply insert a resin-impregnated liner within the host pipe, invert the liner and then heat-cure it to form the same rigid shape as the original pipe.
Using our "trenchless" CIPP lining process, Spiniello can rehabilitate water, sewer and industrial process pipes ranging from 4" to 108" in diameter. They can also be oval, horseshoe or egg-shaped.
Our CIPP process enables clients to:
Spiniello provides an end-to-end CIPP solution that's customized to meet the unique requirements of each project. Typically, the process includes the following steps:
Step 1: Divert the flow. Following strict quality controls and safety practices, we establish a bypass system to divert effluent to a downstream manhole.
Step 2: Clean the pipe. Depending on the project, we use a hydraulically propelled, high-velocity jet, or mechanically powered equipment to clean the pipeline. This removes all dirt, grease, rocks, sand and other obstructions.
Step 3: Inspect the pipe. Our closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection helps us verify the cleanliness and identify any potential problems remaining in the pipe.
Step 4: Line the pipe. We insert the resin-impregnated liner through a manhole or access pit, and invert it within the host pipe by using water or air pressure. The CIPP liner is then heat-cured to create a rigid structure in the shape of the pipeline.
Step 5: Establish manhole access. Our team cuts both ends of the CIPP, along with any intermediate manhole access points, to create the new pipe segment.
Step 6: Reinstate service. Using our CCTV camera and a remote-control lateral borer, we reinstate the service connections.
Step 7: Conduct a final inspection. We verify the quality of the entire CIPP project with our CCTV system, and ensure there are no defects.
